Tonight I’m working on a new project: cutting two patterns from one really large cut of fabric. It’s been awhile since I used one piece of fabric to make two different things, and the very first time I’m doing so intentionally and simultaneously.

McCall’s pattern 6725, look B — now OOP
McCall’s pattern 6083, look A

The fabric is a light-ish weight white on blue polka dot, polyester with a crepe-like hand. The patterns are both by McCall’s: M6725, look B, and M6083, look A. I’m really nervous about wearing M6083 in public because my legs are totally covered in cellulite and spider veins, BUT:

"Haters gonna hate."
“Haters gonna hate.”

… so it’s going to happen, and it’s going to be fabulous. If I have enough fabric, I’m also going to make a wrap skirt to wear with M6083, so I can have a flirty, girly look AND the comfort of shorts with pockets. Yes, I am spoiled. No, I don’t intend to change.

Look back at it
